Hello everyone reading this! Today I’m throwing out an update around this site, what life has been like going back to freelancing so far as well as new services I’m offering and what is going to be happening with the content on this blog.
For the past 3-4 years now much of the content I have created online has pivoted around blogging. Social media and marketing as well as business has been a topic I have centrally focused on and in particular over the past year I have enjoyed it immensely as there has been more feedback than ever before.
Last August we revealed a new website design that I absolutely love and have been thrilled with. A single webpage layout with all the info necessary on that page and easy to find. It was the second layout for Mark Dalton Media after launching at the start of last March.
Good morning! Start of another week and for this week that means the start of something new. Today we are proud to officially announce the launch of a new website, one I have been excited to launch for some time now – In The Red Zone. So let me explain how this came about and what this means for the Mark Dalton Media blog.
So this will be unexpected for many people, scaling back on content. Why? Would I not push forward with more content? At one point we were at two articles per day, then back to one and now there will only be a few per week? How does this make sense?
The latest Uber update is doing something creepy, really creepy. Uber is now tracking users for five minutes so after you leave your ride Uber is still tracking where you are going afterwards and five minutes worth of data is a lot of tracking data.
When Watch Dogs was first revealed there was a lot of fan fare and hype. The game promised so much but failed to deliver on nearly every front. Promises of a game which was a completely different experience to anything we have played before left us expecting so much but experiencing so little.
For many journalists, Twitter is the place to be. The speed that news can be broken at cannot be rivalled on other social media platforms. For Twitter, the feed is all about the right there and then.
